A Review of the Solution to some Initial Value Problems (IVP)

Hella fellows. I sure know that there is a wide range of gurus on this forum. The thread topic is my final year project topic (Mathematics/Computer Sci Dept) and I will just like to appeal that if anyone here has any useful material relating to the above named topic, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much in anticipation of your educative responses.

PS: I am required to first and foremost provide my TABLE OF CONTENTS (doesn't make sense to me though, but that's what my supervisor wants)

I suggest you read the Differential Equations tutorial which is stickied at the top of this subforum.

Also, do you know what a table of contents is? It's a list of what is to be included in the project, in the order that it appears, at the beginning of your project. Makes finding what you want a lot easier while you are reading it...

That's what I would have recommended, too, except that a lot of the LaTeX expressions aren't working. (Same problem as what's in your signature.)

The best advice I can give is actually to read a book on Differential Equations. Tenenbaum and Pollard is a good one.

And suggesting you write the table of contents first is suggesting that you first decide what you want to write about! Very good advice in my opinion.

Thanks so much guys. You people are the best. Your suggestions have helped alot especially the Book. I found it. Problem I have now is emm.. I have quite alot of materials already but I am still finding it quite difficult arranging them in order of how it should be. Which should be in chapter 1, chapter 2.... chapter 5. Any help on that will be greatly appreciated. Or a list of topics, sub topics I can write on. I am not even sure whether or not to go into Partial Differential Equation or just dwell on ODE alone. Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response.
