Hello,

I am looking for a general solution to the ODE:

$\displaystyle \dfrac{d^2}{dx^2}f(x) + B(x)*\dfrac{d}{dx}f(x) + (\dfrac{d}{dx}B(x) - 1)*f(x) = 0$

It is almost similar to a very simple ODE that I have previously asked about (http://www.mathhelpforum.com/math-he...de-170022.html), but for some reason this seems to be much more complicated.

The solution may be vaguely related to a ODE I found in EqWorld: http://eqworld.ipmnet.ru/en/solutions/ode/ode0245.pdf, however, once again, I am stuck. Can anyone point me in the right direction? (Or point out something obvious that I've missed, as the case may be.)
