    Uniform rod

    Find the equilibrium temperature distribution in a uniform rod when the end x = 0 is maintained at temperature 0 and the end x = L is maintained at temperature T.

    I know this is easy, but I have no examples on how to do this.

    0=u_{t}=ku_{xx},

    since you're in equilibrium.

    Integrate twice to get your solution, then fit to the boundary conditions.
