    1. Convert the 1933 price to cents per litre.

    2. For exponential growth the price $$ t years from 1933 is

    p(t)=p_0 e^{kt}

    where p_0 is the price in cents per litre in 1933.

    3. Now find $$ k using the 1986 datum, it is the required rate constant.
