    1st Order DE

    I'm having trouble in approaching this problem
    2x dy + (x^2y^4+1)y dx=0

    Is it an exact equation needing an integration factor...?

    Write it as

    \dfrac{dy}{dx} +\dfrac{y}{2x} = - \dfrac{x y^5}{2}

    It's Bernoulli.
