Thread: Power Series Question

I've been reading a number of documents on how to use power series to solve a differential equation and I just can't seem to get it. I need to find a series solution to y' + (x+2)y=0 from (-infinity, infinity) showing at least four terms. Can someone either help me solve this problem or direct me somewhere that has a decent explanation of the this process? Thanks!

nevermind! I was way overcomplicating it, but I finally figured it out on my own!
