    Need help with first order ode..

    dy/dx = x/(3x-y)

    What method to use to solve this??

    You do have to learn to look for clues.

    In this case, everything about the right hand side is the same degree. This suggests the substitution y = x*v, giving dy/dx = v + x*(dv/dx).

    After substituting all that, it should be seperable in x and v.
