Could someone please explain to me what this problem is asking me to do? I keep reading the book, but fail to find an example.
Consider the differential equation x' = -1 1* x, w/ x(0) = 1
-4 3 1
solve the differential equation where x = x(t)
y(t)
I don't really know how to write matrices on the forums. x' = matrix -1 1 in the top row and -4 3 on the bottom row, x(0) = 1 in the top row and 1 on the bottom row.
