    Adjoint operator

    Hello, I've been given the following exercise.
    I'm pretty sure I know how to find the adjoint operator but I'm clueless as to the adjoint boundary conditions.
    It would be really helpfull if someone could give me a few pointers as I don't know how to begin.

    Btw -what are the given boundary conditions? I'm accustumed to u(0)=0=u(L) and such as a boundary conditions. what is Bu? does Bu=0?
