a machine coasts $ 550/weeek to maintain and each item that it produces costs $ 2.500 find the total weekly cost when the weekly production is:


1)315 items



2)420 items

multiply the cost of item by number of items then add weekly cost

(315 x 2.5) + 550

C = 550 + 2.5 x

where C is the weekly cost (in dollars) and x is the number of items produced each week.
