Using the following:

u(x,t) = 1/2[f*(x-ct) + f*(x+ct)]

Graph the following (at least 4 different graphs):

f(x) = k(x-x^3)

where L=1, ends fixed, c=1, starting with initial velocity = 0 and initial deflection k is small (say 0.01).

Definitely could use some help setting this up. Haven't found much online in terms of worked examples to know where/how to start. Thanks!
