    A Differential Application - Force/Resistance

    A 10-kg mass is hanging from a spring whose constant is 5
    kg/s^2The mass is set in motion at x = 3m with an initial velocity of -6 m/s. Discuss the resulting motion if the surrounding medium offers a resistance numerically equal to four times the velocity. Here, the gravitational constant g is 9.8m/s^2.

    What is x(t)?
