Texts - ODE's / PDE's
Apologies- if this is not the correct forum for such questions please.
I am looking for standard texts on following two topics (for self-study)
1. Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE's)
2. Partial Differential Equations (PDE's)
Level - Beginner/Intermediate. Something for an advanced under-grad or beginner's grad course
(Basically something like Rudin/Bartle-Analysis, Artin/Herstien - Algebra etc)
Even if you can point to a site - where I can get this info that would be great.
Well the textbook I used in my ODE course and then in my PDE course was "Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems by William E. Boyce and Richard C. DiPrima" It's fairly comprehensive in terms of topics covered and techniques outlined, has many exercises and solutions for the even numbered questions I believe. I would say it's more of a beginner textbook (I used it in 2nd/3rd year undergrad), not sure though as I haven't read any other texts on this subject. It's definitely very well suited for self-study and can be supplemented by other texts if you wish.

Thanks. I was looking at something more advanced. Like a beginner's grad level text. Thanks nevertheless, I appreciate your response.
