Alright the problem i am working on is a longer word problem so i am not going to type out the problem and ask for help with the work, i simply need to know how to do 2 things.

I have the area of a section superimposed on a rectangular coordinate system(finding the area is part a). My problem is parts b and c of the problem.

Part b= Find the volume of concrete in one of the sections by multiplying the area in part (a) by 2 meters.

Part c= One cubic meter of concrete weighs 5000 pounds. Find the weight of the section.

With Part b, is it realy as simple as multiplying the area by 2? And for Part C i have no idea what formula i would use for that.

Btw the Area is (20*√(5)+9)/9

For part c weight = density*volume

Without knowing more about the problem it is hard to determine if b is correct. However if the slab is homogeneous and has a uniform thickness of 2 meters then b is also correct

ah great, so part c would simply be 5000*volume, thanks
