    taylor approximation

    Hi

    i am sorry if this is a stupid question but

    is there a taylor approximation to the function

    f = ln(1-e^{-x})

    but

    ln(1-e^{-x}) = f(a) + f'(a)(x-a) +.....

    the first term f(a) is ln(0) which is undefined

    Then try centering the series on something other than 0.
