Is that:
$\displaystyle \oint_C r \ dr$
where $\displaystyle C = \{x,y \: : \: x^2+y^2=a^2\}$ ?
Is that an integral in the complex plane, with $\displaystyle r=x+iy$? An integral in $\displaystyle \mathbb{R}^2$ with $\displaystyle r=(x,y)$ (which is essentially the same thing)? Or is $\displaystyle r$ some other function of $\displaystyle (x,y)$ such as the length?
I'm also not sure why you say "and z=0".
