calculus question!

I need full solutions on how to do 6 a and b, please help me! :) I don't know how to differentiate them.

b. the derivative is $cosx+sinx$ so the slope is $cos(\frac{\pi}{2})+sin(\frac{\pi}{2})=0+1=1$ and the y coordinate is 1. so the equation is mx+b or $f(x)=(1)x+1=x+1$
