    Evaluating inside and outside of functions

    I can't seem to solve down on this equation. I need to identify the function inside of u=g(x) and outside the function, y=f(u).

    Given: y=(x^2+1)^{4/3}

    Any help again would be greatly appreciated.

    f(u)=u^\frac{4}{3} u=x^2+1
