    Octants in 3 dimension

in 3d dimension I know the first octant but where is the other octant I search in google but that what I find

" The octant where all three coordinates are positive is sometimes called the first octant; however, there is no established nomenclature for the other octants. "

is this a right thing or not please someone tell me

Typically the first four octants correspond the four quadrants in 2space with z positive

    Oct 2 x<0 y>0
    Oct 3 x<0 y<0
    Oct4 x>0 y<0

Then octants 5-8 follow the same pattern with z<0
