    Half angle intergral question

    Hi, I'm trying to intergrate \int \sqrt{2 + 2cos(t)}

    and I will use the double angle formulaes to get \int 2cos(\frac{t}{2})

    but according to the mark scheme I should get \int 2cos(t)

    howcome?

    Thanks
