Economics is an easy one. As is astronomy as it deals with physical laws.

I doubt you'll find a paper relating any of these subjects to differential calculus. You'll just have to pick one and decide the relationship for yourself.

Not difficult. What use could there be for graphing the rate of change of a function? What use could there be for calculating mins/maxs? Concavity?

Google mathematical biology and you'll see over 10 million sites. It's an area full of differential equations.

I meant between astronomy and rainbows. =p

Saw a similar presentation to that pdf during one of Walter Lewin's lectures.
