$\displaystyle \frac{\cos^2{x}}{1 - \sin{x}} = \frac{1 - \sin^2{x}}{1 - \sin{x}} = \frac{(1 - \sin{x})(1 + \sin{x})}{1 - \sin{x}} = 1 + \sin{x} $
