Archimedes General Parabola Proof

I need to prove the formula for the general parabola $f(x)=c^2-a^2x^2$

What is the base?

What is the height?

The area of the arch is:

A(a,c)=\int_{x=x_1}^{x_2} f(x)\ dx
$

where $x_1$ and $x_2$ are the roots of $f(x)=0$
