# Question on Integral problem

$\int cot^4xcsc^2x$ $u=cotx$ $-du=csc^2xdx$
$-\int U^4du$
$-[\frac{1}{5}u^5 + C]$
$-\frac{1}{5}cot^5x - C$
If you calculate x - c = y instead of x + c = y, either way, you're going to get y. So technically, you could say $-1/5cot^5x - \frac {4\sqrt c}{5}$ and it wouldn't make a difference when applied.
