    integration problems

    Hi,

    Im having trouble integrating the following, if anyone can explain how to do it then that would be great.

    You should note that $\displaystyle \int \! \tau^{\frac{1}{n} - 1} \, d \tau = n \tau^{\frac{1}{n}}$ (I have ignored adding the arbitrary constant since you will use this result to find a definite integral).
