1. ## Finding properties of a graph. ex. intercepts...

in the function f(x) x+1/1-x find the intercepts, intervals of increasing/decreasing, any extrema, intervals of concave up/down, inflection points and asymptotes. You must show your work using calculus to support your answer.

please write what steps you took to find each

2. $f(x)=\frac{x+1}{1-x}$

This is just work, I can give you the hint that the function doesn't exist at x=1 so you can be sure that $x=<-\infty,1>$is decresing and $x=<1,\infty>$ is increasing

Also you find intercepts for y when x=0 and y when x=0

Do you know hot to get the derivative of f(x) using the quotient rule? Do you know how to use the derivative to find the intervals over whch the function is increasing or decreasing?

Do you know how to find the double derivative of f(x)? Do you know the relationship between the double derivative and concavity?

Where are you stuck in the question you posted?
