Thread: continuity problem

Let f(x)=x^2 when x is not equal to 0. How would you define the value of f at
x=0 so that the new function is continous at x=0. Justify your anwser.

If a function f is continuous at x = a, the the limit of f for x to a has to be equal to f(a).
