Thread: Differential Forms

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand differential forms, Wikipedia isn't helping too much! I know my question is vague but I'm hoping to get an overview of them.

Such as what they are and what they're used for and notation used.

Also if anyone has any good reference sites...

On my website I discuss and have applications for the differential for a function of one variable and two variables



Calculus 1 function of one variable

Tangent Planes/ Differential for f(x,y) function of 2 variables

Once you understand the differential for functions of one variable and the
extension to the differential of a function of 2 variables then it is easy to see how to define the differential form for functions of n variables.
