Math Help - evaluate the antiderivative

    evaluate the antiderivative

    Evaluate the antiderivative:
    b) (6sinx+cos6x+e5x+12x_)dx



    ∫(6sinx) + ∫(cos6x) + ∫(e^(5x)) + ∫1/2x dx

    6*∫(sinx) + ∫(cos6x) + ∫(e^(5x)) + 1/2*∫1/x dx

    = 6*-cosx + sin6x/6 + e^5x /5 + 1/2* ln abs(x)


    This is my answer, and when i take the derivative of it, i get the antiderivative,
    so my check is correct.
    however when i plug this into my online exercise, it says its incorrect.
    (and yes i've already checked it over and tried different formats of typing it)

    did i make a mistake and over see it or might there be something wrong with
    the online assignment?

    yes, this is correct. maybe writing the first term as -6cos(x) would be better. if you type it exactly like that, i see several problems with your input. a poor use of parentheses is probably to blame
