    completing the square

Hi, Im a bit stuck when it comes to completing the square of the following,

    (x^2 + 6x) +7(y^2 - y )

    I get

    [(x+3)^2 -9 ] + 7 [(y -1/2)^2 - 1/2]

    This doesnt seem right

any clues as to where I am going wrong would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks
