    Limit comparison/comparison test series

    Determine whether the series converges.

    \sum^{\infty}_{n=1} \frac{9^n + 9}{8^n}

    Should I do limit comparison test with \frac{9^n}{8^n}?

    \frac{9^n + 9}{8^n} > \frac{9^n}{8^n} = \left(\frac{9}{8}\right)^n

    The terms do not go to zero, hence the series diverges.
