Lagrange Multipliers in 4D

    We have:
\nabla f=\lambda g
g=c

    Where is the function we want to minimise/maximise and g=c is the condition. Does this hold for 4 variable i.e. in 4D.

    It holds for any dimension... Lagrange multipliers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
