I know what the shapes are supposed to like on most but have difficulty drawing any tips will be very helpful.
I am supposed to describe, sketch, and identify the surface of the falling:
1) yz = 4
Have no idea.
2) 25x^2+4y^2+z^2=100
Ellipsoid
3) 4x^2-16y^2+z^2=16
hyperboloid of one sheet parallel to the y-axis
4) x^2-y^2+z^2-2x+2y+4z+2=0
hyperboloid of one sheet parallel to y-axis with a vertex of (1,1,-2)
