What is the derivative of e^x^3

    HI

I have 5 textbooks and can't seem to find an answer to what is the derivative of

    e to the x power cubed e^x^3
    3
    x
    e

Hopefully you understand what I am asking.

My first thought is 3x^2 but I appreciate a knowledgeable voice.

    Thanks

    Let f(x) = e^x this means f(x^3) = e^{x^3}.
If you define g(x) = f(x^3) you want to find g'(x).
    Thus, g'(x) = (x^3)' f ' (x^3) = 3x^2 f(x^3) = 3x^2e^{x^3}.
