I'm trying to find the area between the curves y=|x| and y=x^2-2, I can easily graph this and I understand I should do the integral of f(x) - g(x) and solve at the intersection points but I don't believe there is an integral to abs(x). Now I know it is symmetrical, is it possible to find the area between y=x and y=x^2-2 from 0 to 2 then double that?
