Long story short, i'm in calculus 1 for the first time right now, its about a month into the semester, my teacher wants me to switch into calculus 2. My question is: is it feasible to take both calculus 1 and calculus 2 simulteneously?

1. its my second semester as a freshman in college.
2. he thinks that me and 2 other students are not being challenged enough (both other kids have already taken calc 1 however.)
3. I haven't taken calculus before but i have read up quite a bit on other math topics like combinitorics and game thoery so I have seen alot of the stuff before.
I mean, only you can know for sure. If I were you I'd ask the professor to give you an overview exam of everything you should know by the end of Calc 1 and I wouldn't suggest you move on until you can pass that. Calc I lays a crucial foundation for Calc II in my opinion, but then again I struggled through Calc I (Did well in it, but had to put a lot of time into it) so if it comes easy to you perhaps you should just go for it.
