    What are the horizontal and vertical asymptotes for

    x+5/2x-4

    the vertical asymptote is 2x-4 = 0 \Rightarrow x=2;
    horizontal asymptote is \lim_{x\to\infty}{\frac{x+5}{2x-4}}=\frac{1}{2}
