1. ## more integrals

another integral question...

dy/dx = (sec^2 (x))(tan^.5 (x)) dx

just to be clear,
integral of secant squared of x times root tangent of x dx

we're supposed to use substitution to solve it. I tried u = sec x, but the problem is i've got a root tangent, not just tangent. can someone please walk me through it?

i've also got a similar issue with dy/dx = 3(sin x)^-2 dx

1) Try $u = \tan x$
2) Write as $\int dy = 3 \int \csc^2 x dx$ you should recognize this.
