    Question Find equation of the plane

    hey guys, i don't know how to start working on this problem

    A plane P passes through The point A (3,2,-4) and is parallel to the plane Q with equation 8x-5y+z=6
    Find an equation of the plane P.(Do not transform it)

    The plane P and Q have the same normal so it's <8,-5,1>. Now through your point gives

    8(x-3) - 5(y-2) + 1(z+4) = 0
