Can somebody please help me, this question was on my cal test, and i need to correct it, but i cant.

Solve:
The integral of (x^1/2)(f(x))dx=

anyone know this?

Are you sure that's the entire problem? Are we given $f(x)$ ?

ha! i wish but no. i just called my friend. apparently you use parts, u = f(x) dv=x, so du= f'(x) and v=x^2/2. so, since integral of udv= uv- integral of vdu. thus, f(x)(x^2/2) minus integral of (x^2/2)(f'(x)).
it was dumb.
