    integration!!!

    how do i integrate the following: (cos (e^t))(e^t) dt do i use integration by parts, if so , what is my v and what is my u?

    Just a simple u-substitution will do.

    {\color{red}u = e^t} \ \Rightarrow \ {\color{blue}du = e^t dt}

    So: \int \cos \left({\color{red}e^t}\right) {\color{blue}e^tdt} = \cdots
