Do you mean this?

$\displaystyle \int \frac{1}{7+y^2}$

If so...this should be in your table:

$\displaystyle \int \frac{1}{a^2+x^2} = \frac {1}{a}\tan^{-1} {\left(\frac{x}{a}\right)} + C$

And just recognize that $\displaystyle a$ is equal to the square root of 7. - Feb 1st 2009, 08:40 PMgabet16941
