Hello,
I would just like to know what is the derivative of 2e^x?

Yes, that's correct. In general, we see that $\frac{\,d}{\,dx}\left[ae^x\right]=a\frac{\,d}{\,dx}\left[e^x\right]=ae^x$ , where $a$ is a constant.
