    Question Calculus Behavior

    If f(x) = x^2 - (the absolute value of x-4), is the behavior of f at x=4 a cusp or a corner?

    Does anyone have a calculator they could figure this out on real quick? Mine won't do absolute values...

    Draw y = x^2 and y = -|x - 4|.

    Now use addition of ordinates to draw the graph of y = x^2 - |x - 4| by hand.

    The answer will now be clear.
