    substitution or integration by parts

For each of the following integrals, determine whether integration by substitution or integration by parts is more appropriate. Do not evaluate the integrals.

I think i have them right....
i just want to make sure, pointers on seeing which is better to use would be very much appreciated!

    (a) by parts
    (b) by parts
    (c) substitution
    (d) substitution
    (e) substitution
    (f) by parts
    (g) by parts

Almost agreed but not with letter f). Note that a substitution is needed.

    Note that \frac{1}{\sqrt{3x + 1}} = (3x + 1)^{-\frac{1}{2}} and with the substitution u = 3x + 1, \frac{du}{dx} = 3.
