I need to solve for this but I don't know how (i've probably forgot)

cos4x=sin4x

2. $\frac{sin(4x)}{cos(4x)} =1$

$tan(4x) =1$

$4x =arctan(1) = \frac{\pi}{4} + n\pi$ where $n \in \mathbb Z$

$x = \frac{\pi}{16} + \frac{n\pi}{4}$

3. Perhaps I should broaden the question:

I have to find the area between the two curves
$f(x)=sin(4x) and g(x)=cos(4x)$ for $
$
$x = \frac{\pi}{2}$ ≤ x ≤ 0
Now, from what I understand, I need to find where the graphs intersect in order to determine which function need to become absolute. Is this step necessary at all?
