Perhaps I should broaden the question:
I have to find the area between the two curves
$\displaystyle f(x)=sin(4x) and g(x)=cos(4x)$ for $\displaystyle
$$\displaystyle x = \frac{\pi}{2}$ ≤ x ≤ 0
Now, from what I understand, I need to find where the graphs intersect in order to determine which function need to become absolute. Is this step necessary at all?
