2. Find the area of that portion of the surface $\displaystyle z^2 = x^2 + y^2$ above the first quadrant of the $\displaystyle xy$-plane for which $\displaystyle x < 1$ and $\displaystyle y < 2$.

I seriously have no idea how to do any of these.
