Is there anyway to nontrivially decompose $\displaystyle \frac{1}{(x-2)^2}$ into partial fractions? Thanks.

$\displaystyle \frac{1}{(x-2)^2}=\frac{A}{(x-2)}+\frac{B}{(x-2)^2}$
I see no good reason to turn that into partial fractions. What's the main purpose?
