I'm having problems with this question ...
What is the integral of x/(x+2) with respect to x.

A) x ln|x+2| + C
B) x + 2 ln|x+2| + C
C) x - 2 ln|x+2| + C
D) x - ln|x+2| + C
E) X - Arctan x + C

I know the integral of 1/(x+2) is ln|x+2|, but I don't know how to deal with the x in the numerator.

2. $\frac{x}{x+2} = \frac{x+2-2}{x+2} = \frac{x+2}{x+2} - \frac{2}{x+2} = 1 - \frac{2}{x+2}$
