taylor series (studyin for final)
hm i m stuck on this problem.. i dont know if i did it correctly.
find the taylor series generated by f at x = a.

did i take the derivatives wrong?? i found the taylor series but dont i need the formula of that series? hm any help appreciated big time.

Dear Legendsn3verdie,

you've calculated well. It is behind the last step:

$f(x) = \sum a_i*x^i$
What are the coefficents a_i? You know it, I'm sure.

You surely know that $\frac{1}{1-x}=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}x^n$ so $\frac{x}{1-x}=x\cdot\frac{1}{1-x}=x\cdot\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}x^n=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty }x^{n+1}$
